Wedding Bed Beard, Vacation Bed Beard

It's been a busy Friday over here in Montpellier.  Our overly generous friends, Scott and Natalie, invited us to join them on a vacation to Cannes beginning tomorrow!  We're really excited to hit the beach and spend some days living in style on the French Riviera.  We'll be in town for 5 days and this trip comes at the perfect time because The Hub and I are getting ready to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary on Monday! It sounds cliché - it IS cliché - but our wedding weekend was the most fun time of my entire life.  Having so many people we loved and cared about in the same place was such a gift and we really took time to savor the experience and remember the moments.  We spent 14 months planning and slaving over every detail and we made sure to enjoy it!  We ate, we drank, we danced, and we stayed up partying with friends until 6am.  I love looking back on these pictures because you can just feel the joy and excitement that's written all over our faces - our smiles were huge!  It was the perfect night and I can't believe it was almost two years ago. And you better believe Figgy was a part of our big day - he was our Ring Bearer!  Despite the fact that he threw up before the ceremony (I think he was more nervous than anyone) he did a great job.  He ran straight down the aisle and into Michael's arms.  And he looked so darn handsome in his tux. My sister's husband, who helped out with Fig so much during that weekend, knew that I'd want to see him later in the evening, so he brought him to the reception.  Fig always has a blast at our parties! So as we get ready to celebrate 2 years of marriage in Cannes, you better believe that Figgy will be joining us.  Isn't he just the cutest little jet-setting pup??  He's been super antsy with all the open suitcases in the house, so I'm sure he'll be happy to realize he's coming along.
