Smoking Hot Bed Beard

Sorry for no post yesterday and I have to warn you:  this isn't going to be much of one either.  I had a really good post planned for yesterday, but you'll just have to wait until next week because I'm too busy sitting here wallowing in my own sweat to be motivated to think too much.  We're going on nearly two weeks straight of intense sun and humidity with no air conditioning or reprieve,  and it's making me lethargic and cranky. This San Francisco girl is not used to this kind of summer.  The humidity is just hanging in the sky waiting for it to open up and I'm thinking of doing some sort of rain dance soon.  Now I know I shouldn't be complaining.  My Facebook newsfeed is all aflutter with people freaking out over impending hurricanes and surprising earthquakes (which my dreams predicted, thankyouverymuch) but I'm telling you, I will kill for a little break in this heat. The weather is making someone else pretty lazy too. We head back to the U.S. again next Thursday for the East Coast Love Tour (more on that later) and I am so excited to get out of the South for a little bit.  I have some good posts planned for while I'm gone including the end of my Summer Recipe Series, so make sure to keep checking in.
