Last Day of Work Bed Beard

I can't believe that today is already my last day of work...again. It's another bittersweet moment for me because I was really enjoying my new company and new role. Even though I had already worked with this company as my client over the last 5 years, I've learned so much in the past four months as one of their employees. Fig will also miss coming to work with me. It seems like only yesterday he was riding in my car on his way to his first day of work. He has made so many great friends at work too.  Having dogs in the office is so awesome.  It just makes the work day that much more fun!

Teddy is definitely Fig's best friend in the office.  They absolutely love each other.  When they are both in the office at the same time, we usually have to close them in a room together because they go crazy.  It's so cute.

 

Yes, Fig and I will miss our friends and the work we've been doing over the last few months.  I worry about things like, will I be bored in France without a job?  Will I ever be able to work a full year again?  And then I remember all the things I have to learn over the next 18 months and realize, that's going to be a job in and of itself!  I'm sure I'll find a way to stay busy.

And now that work is over, it's crunch time.  Really crunchy time.  There's no more excuses - after today I have to start packing up the apartment and get ready to leave San Francisco.  Looks like I've already found a way to occupy my time.
