adventures of an american housewife in the south of france

Hipsta-Weekend

I made it through my first of two weekends here without The Hub.  It rained and rained and rained.  I got a few things done around the house, started Life, watched LMN (don't judge), met up with friends for dinner and drinks, and had a lot of fun playing with my new iPhone 4. Especially the Hipstamatic app which, as a former HTC Incredible customer, I've always been very jealous of.  Of course I snapped pics of my favorite subject

Every Sunday morning, just steps away from our front door, there is a big open market outside the Antigone with tons of fruit, vegetables, wine, honey, cheese, flowers, bread, pastries, etc.  Yesterday was the first time I've had to chance to check it out and it was awesome!  Even though there are many other markets open throughout the week within walking distance, we're really lucky to have this so close for lazy Sunday morning strolls.

Then through the crowds I spotted it.

Hot damn!  I didn't need to figure out what to have for dinner, dinner found me.  You better believe I bought the largest size to-go container.

yum yum

I heated it up in a skillet later in the evening and enjoyed it with a glass (bottle?) of Luberon while watching a movie with Figgy.  The only thing missing was The Hub. À bientôt!
