ECLT: Final Stop – Ipswich/Little Neck!

For the final trip on the ECLT, we headed to Ipswich, MA, about 30 miles north of Boston, where our friend Matt has a summer home in the small, tight-knit community of Little Neck Island.  Since this home is where he met the love of his life, Leslie, that's where they decided to get married!  Isn't that so romantic? We were in Ipswich/Little Neck for 6 days where we spent some time sunning (once the sun actually came out!), eating lots of great food, and rocking out at another amazing wedding! Here's a recap of the Things I Learned in Ipswich: - When the sun comes out in Little Neck, day-yamnnn!  This place is beauts. - It also has some amazing sunsets. - Taking the commuter rail from Ipswich into Boston is the way to go - driving in is for suckers!  It only costs about $7, takes 50-ish minutes, and you don't have to pay for parking in the city or deal with gridlock traffic.  Score! - If you suddenly contract a raging sinus infection, like I did, the Minute Clinic in Beverly's CVS will hook you up with meds. - Fried clams and lobstah rolls are bomb!  And here's a secret:  The Clam House has the best fried clams and chowder, while The Clam Box has the best lobster rolls. - Long awaited engagements are best when they're a surprise.  And happen in a boat - Suspenders definitely belong in a wedding. - Anthropologie is a great place to get bridesmaid dresses. - I have some awesome crafty friends who really know how to party!  Matt's summer house overlooking the ocean was the perfect venue for the New England-inspired nuptials.  We dined on clam chowder and lobster rolls, drank to our heart's content, and danced the night away to a live funk band. So guess what?  That concludes the ECLT!  I feel so lucky to have been able to be part of these 2 weddings, of these 2 amazing friends of mine, whose chosen ladies have become 2 of my bestest friends. Lovin' love over here!

   You have such an amazing circle of friends Natalie! How fortunate to have such genuine, caring friends. They certainly are living lives that are truthful to who they are. Good for them!! Plus they are SOOOO creative! The weddings looked so warm and loving. Sounds like a super trip in all. :) Love you Xoxo

   I just got on facebook for the first time since the wedding (other than being bullied into updating my status to married) and found the link to your ECLT expose, love it! We’re so glad you and Michael were able to make it and be a part of our festivities! Thank you for your wonderful and thoughtful presents, we’re putting them all to good use! Can’t wait to see you two again as siib as possible, you’re missed in San Francisco!
