Poodle Foot & Bed Beard

When Figgy's hair starts getting really long, he develops something I call, Poodle Foot.  You see, Fig is a Poodle/Shih Tzu mix, but most of the time you can't tell he's part Poodle.  But when he starts getting shaggy, his hair starts getting curly, the Poodle in him comes out. Isn't it darling?  Poor Figgy really needs a haircut.  He's getting quite shaggy these days.  So shaggy in fact that I had to give him a little bang trim this weekend so that he could see. We have a fun weekend ahead of us which includes a show at the majestic Fox Theater and a trip to Golden Gate Fields for a birthday party.  Next week is finally the week of Fig's appointment at the Orthopedic Surgeon!  I'm looking forward to finding out what we can do to get Figgy off of bed rest.  But for now, we must continue to restrict his exercise.  How boring.
